A 2-time World Heavyweight Champion has now opened up on how he was banished by WWE. The star spoke about the fan reaction after he was gone. During an interview with Eduardo Bates, Alberto Del Rio spoke about how the fans have reacted after he was banished by WWE. He was asked in the interview how it had felt to be banished by the company and how he was taking the fan reaction to his name being chanted in shows. He spoke about how he had elevated the business as well.

However, while he had been the AAA Mega Champion, in the first show after WWE bought the company, he lost the title to El Hijo del Vikingo, and has not been seen since. Del Rio said that this was something that no one could control the fans on, and that they would continue to support him.

A former Universal Champion is set to make his WWE return. He will be part of a new show. Braun Strowman had two runs with WWE. His first run was successful and saw him feud with some of the top names in the company. He also won the Universal Championship. His second run with the sports entertainment juggernaut wasn't as successful as his first. He was involved in some meaningless feuds that didn't benefit him. Strowman's last feud was with Jacob Fatu before he was released from the company.

However, the 335-pound star has since gotten himself a new show called Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman, which is set to premiere on the USA Network on October 24 with back-to-back episodes. This show is produced by WWE Studios and Bright North Studios. WWE's Triple H, Lee Fitting, Marc Pomarico, and Ben Houser are listed as executive producers, while Braun Strowman (aka Adam Scherr), Kevin Duncan, Morgan Hertzan, Matthew J. Braley, Shawn Efran, Pat Dimon, and Azadeh De Leon will be the executive producers from Bright North Studios.

A beloved WWE star has now spoken about returning to the company after more than 15 years to face AJ Styles. He spoke about having a last-ever match in the company against him. Jimmy Wang Yang was recently interviewed by Wentworth Bros Entertainment, where he discussed the possibility of returning to WWE and who he would like to face.

During the interview, the star was asked with whom he'd like to have his last-ever match if he were to return to WWE. He said that in such a situation, he would like to face AJ Styles and mentioned that he was undefeated against him. He stated that Styles had never beaten him, referencing WCW and TNA, before adding that he had also never defeated him in WWE. The two stars were not part of the company at the same time, and did not wrestle there. Now, if Jimmy Wang Yang were to return, he felt that he would like to have The Phenomenal One “finish the story” there, and said that he was close to Styles as well.

FROM THE RUMOR MILL

WWE is reportedly well aware that the John Cena retirement tour has been underwhelming. The Cenation Leader kicked off his final run in the Stamford-based promotion on the RAW Netflix Premiere and is all set to hang up his wrestling boots on December 13 at Saturday Night's Main Event in Washington, D.C.

According to a recent report from Fightful Select, people within the company know that Cena's retirement tour hasn't been good. The suspected reason behind it is some unforeseen creative changes made throughout his run.

TOP FEATURES

Former WWE Champion and Hall of Famer Triple H is the man behind all creative decisions in the Stamford-based promotion, as he holds the position of Chief Content Officer of World Wrestling Entertainment. While The Game has been a fan favorite, a trend, the “#FireTriple” movement, has taken social media by storm. Some neutral fans are now wondering why this negative trend against Triple H has picked up. There have been multiple reasons that have led to the movement. Fans on social media have expressed their opinion on the issue.

Major reasons that have sparked the trend are the current booking. Fans have noticed a massive shift in the storylines since WrestleMania 41, which was taken under the creative leadership of The Game. The storylines feel repetitive; even John Cena’s retirement tour hasn’t sat well with the audience, as it significantly lacked a proper storyline and instead focused on generating more profits at various venues. Moreover, even ticket prices have skyrocketed to a new level.

Things have always been tenuous in The Judgment Day between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor. Mysterio brought Liv Morgan into the fold, much to Balor’s chagrin. The Prince, in turn, brought Roxanne Perez into the ranks.

It was to mess with Morgan and Dirty Dom’s relationship, but the move turned out to be a lifesaver as The Prodigy helped the group overcome Morgan’s shoulder injury. Mysterio has enjoyed the perks of being in a pack, like outside help to keep his title. His actions, however, haven’t always been reciprocal.
