Unfortunate Reigns update, Heyman injured & next Women's World Champion
Inside: Update on Live Morgan's stalker

TOP STORIES TODAY
Roman Reigns’ health status was addressed on the September 1 edition of Monday Night RAW, just one night after his brutal assault at Clash in Paris 2025. In the opening segment, Bron Breakker revealed that the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was still hospitalized following the vicious beatdown. His tag team partner, Bronson Reed, doubled down, stating that the attack was carried out because Reigns didn’t fit into their leader Seth Rollins’ “vision” of WWE.
The incident came after Reigns defeated Reed in Paris, reclaimed his stolen sneakers, and even choked out his former Wiseman, Paul Heyman. But celebrations were cut short when Breakker blindsided him with a spear through the announce table, leading to a two-on-one assault that left Reigns stretchered out of the arena. WWE officials have since confirmed that the attack was designed to write Reigns off television, as he takes time away from wrestling to film the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie in Australia.
The Key to a $1.3 Trillion Opportunity
A new real estate trend called co-ownership is revolutionizing a $1.3T market. Leading it? Pacaso. Created by the founder behind a $120M prior exit, they already have $110M+ in gross profits to date. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO. And you can invest until September 18.

Roman Reigns picked up a hard-fought victory over Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris 2025, but the night ended in shocking fashion when The Tribal Chief was brutally assaulted. Following his win, Reigns confronted Paul Heyman, seeking payback for his betrayal at WrestleMania 41. Heyman initially seemed to surrender, even returning the iconic Shoe-la-falla, only for Reigns to lock him in a guillotine choke to the delight of the Paris crowd. Reigns then signed the stolen shoes and tossed them into the audience, a symbolic act of defiance that quickly turned into chaos. Out of nowhere, Bron Breakker blindsided Reigns with a spear, before Reed recovered to join the beatdown. The two-on-one assault left Reigns battered, and the numbers game proved too much. Even after being strapped to a stretcher, the attack continued, leaving Reigns in a devastating state. Jey Uso attempted a late save, but he too was overwhelmed and taken out before his scheduled World Heavyweight Title clash later in the night. The shocking attack cast serious doubt on Reigns’ immediate future and added dramatic fuel to WWE’s ongoing power struggles. | On the latest edition of WWE RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce made a blockbuster announcement regarding the Women’s World Championship. The title was vacated earlier this month after Naomi, who cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Evolution to win the gold, revealed she was pregnant and relinquished the championship. With Naomi sidelined, the championship picture has been wide open, and Pearce has now confirmed how the next champion will be crowned. At Wrestlepalooza on September 20 in Indianapolis, Stephanie Vaquer, who won the Battle Royal at Evolution 2025 to earn her contender’s spot, will face former champion IYO SKY for the vacant Women’s World Championship. Vaquer was originally set to challenge at Clash in Paris, but the match was canceled following Naomi’s announcement. Now, with the stage set for Wrestlepalooza, one of these two stars will walk away as the new face of WWE’s women’s division. |
FROM THE RUMOR MILL
There has been a new development regarding Liv Morgan’s stalker case, as a worrying update has surfaced about the man accused. According to PWInsider, Shawn Chan, who was arrested in June, has now filed a motion seeking release from custody. On August 20, Chan requested that the court reconsider holding him without bail until his trial, noting that a Salvation Army location had been secured as a residence should he be released. Despite the motion, he remains incarcerated at Hernando County Jail in Florida.
The report further revealed that Chan signed a waiver foregoing his right to a speedy trial in order to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. The trial is currently expected to take place in November and could last several days. This latest move adds another troubling layer to a case that has already raised significant concern among fans and WWE officials about Morgan’s safety.
TOP FEATURES
The fallout from Clash in Paris 2025 continued on WWE RAW, where CM Punk found himself in a fiery confrontation with Becky Lynch. The two traded sharp words before The Man once again tried to take down The Best in the World. Punk, however, issued a stern warning to the former Women’s World Champion, hinting that their feud was far from over. He also teased his appearance on this week’s SmackDown in his hometown of Chicago, fueling speculation that he might have a major announcement in store.
Fans have been buzzing about the possibility of AJ Lee returning to WWE, especially given the ongoing storyline involving Punk, Rollins, and Lynch. With Punk openly needing backup in this battle, many believe it’s only a matter of time before a female partner joins him in the fight. Whether that ends up being AJ Lee or another surprising ally, the Chicago show is shaping up to be a pivotal moment in Punk’s latest WWE run.

ANALYSIS CORNER
Becky Lynch’s shocking attack on CM Punk at WWE Clash in Paris 2025 has fueled widespread speculation that Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, could finally make her long-awaited WWE return after more than a decade. While fans have been clamoring for her comeback, there are major hurdles in the way. Lee has not wrestled since retiring due to injury, and lingering back issues continue to raise doubts about whether she could realistically step back into the ring. The storyline would be perfect on paper, but WWE may be signaling that Punk’s savior won’t be AJ.
On RAW this week, Punk was shown in a backstage segment speaking with Rhea Ripley, hinting at a potential alliance. Ripley, who is not currently tied to a major storyline, already has a rich history with Lynch, making her an ideal partner for Punk in this feud. By teasing a connection between The Second City Saint and The Eradicator, WWE appears to be laying the groundwork for a fresh twist—suggesting Ripley, not AJ Lee, could be the one to stand alongside Punk against Rollins and Lynch.
