Roman Reigns’ health status was addressed on the September 1 edition of Monday Night RAW, just one night after his brutal assault at Clash in Paris 2025. In the opening segment, Bron Breakker revealed that the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was still hospitalized following the vicious beatdown. His tag team partner, Bronson Reed, doubled down, stating that the attack was carried out because Reigns didn’t fit into their leader Seth Rollins’ “vision” of WWE.
The incident came after Reigns defeated Reed in Paris, reclaimed his stolen sneakers, and even choked out his former Wiseman, Paul Heyman.  Roman Reigns picked up a hard-fought victory over Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris 2025, but the night ended in shocking fashion when The Tribal Chief was brutally assaulted. Following his win, Reigns confronted Paul Heyman, seeking payback for his betrayal at WrestleMania 41. Heyman initially seemed to surrender, even returning the iconic Shoe-la-falla, only for Reigns to lock him in a guillotine choke to the delight of the Paris crowd. Reigns then signed the stolen shoes and tossed them into the audience, a symbolic act of defiance that quickly turned into chaos. Out of nowhere, Bron Breakker blindsided Reigns with a spear, before Reed recovered to join the beatdown. The two-on-one assault left Reigns battered, and the numbers game proved too much. Even after being strapped to a stretcher, the attack continued, leaving Reigns in a devastating state. Jey Uso attempted a late save, but he too was overwhelmed and taken out before his scheduled World Heavyweight Title clash later in the night. There has been a new development regarding Liv Morgan’s stalker case, as a worrying update has surfaced about the man accused. According to PWInsider, Shawn Chan, who was arrested in June, has now filed a motion seeking release from custody. On August 20, Chan requested that the court reconsider holding him without bail until his trial, noting that a Salvation Army location had been secured as a residence should he be released. Despite the motion, he remains incarcerated at Hernando County Jail in Florida.
The report further revealed that Chan signed a waiver foregoing his right to a speedy trial in order to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. The trial is currently expected to take place in November and could last several days. This latest move adds another troubling layer to a case that has already raised significant concern among fans and WWE officials about Morgan’s safety.
