At the NXT Battleground 2025, Stephanie Vaquer was confronted and slapped in the face by Jacy Jayne. Following this, a title match was announced for NXT between Vaquer and Jayne. This match main evented this week’s episode of the black and silver brand.

During the match, Jayne and Fallon Henley got into a bit of an argument, and they even shoved Jazmyn Nyx to the floor. However, as it seemed like things were about to implode between the Fatal Influence, they came together in the end. Nyx distracted the referee while Fallon Henley hit Stephanie with a 619-like move. This allowed Jacy Jayne to pin Vaquer and become the new NXT Women's Champion in a surprising conclusion to the show.

Due to the Stamford-based promotion's partnership with TNA Wrestling, Mike Santana made an appearance at NXT Battlegrounds 2025, where he was interviewed backstage. However, this interview segment was interrupted by the No Quarter Catch Crew. As a result, Santana challenged one of them to a match on NXT this week.

Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Sami Zayn battled last night in the main event of WWE RAW. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Jey Uso, and Dominik Mysterio got involved in the match. Mysterio slid a steel chair into the ring, and Rollins hit Balor with a Stomp on top of it for the victory. Rollins will be competing in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match at the PLE on June 7.

Balor took to Instagram today to share that he suffered a minor injury on RAW. The inaugural Universal Champion revealed a battle wound above his eye sustained during his loss last night on RAW

ANALYSIS CORNER

Night of Champions is set to be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025. The show will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Due to Money in the Bank and Worlds Collide coming first, no matches have been announced for the show yet. The only thing known for sure is that John Cena is being advertised to appear. With that being said, Cena might not be the only legend who ends up in Saudi Arabia.

CM Punk is currently embroiled in a feud with Seth Rollins' heel alliance on WWE RAW. The Best in the World even destroyed The Visionary on the latest episode of the red brand when Punk delivered a GTS to Rollins after his victory in the MITB qualifying match.

However, The Visionary's faction has recently seen some new additions, with Bronson Reed joining forces with him. This puts Rollins up in the numbers game and would help him tackle anyone who comes in front of him to stop him.
