SMACKDOWN SYNOPSIS
The Canadian wrestler had a forgettable night during the go-home episode of the RAW before Royal Rumble. He lost to Drew McIntyre in the main event after the Scotsman used the ropes to pick up the win. With that, he extended his winless record against McIntyre to 0-11. After the match, Drew McIntyre launched a sneak attack on Sami Zayn. All hell broke loose when Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens joined the fray. The segment ended with the OG Bloodline member giving the American Nightmare an accidental Helluva kick.
Kevin Owens gave Sami Zayn a quick pat on the chest as his fellow Canadian friend looked visibly frustrated. This marked the second time he inadvertently landed a Helluva kick to a babyface. Last week, he did the same to Seth Rollins but apologized backstage.WWE recently shared off-air footage from RAW on their official Instagram handle, where Zayn can be heard saying, “I'm sorry” to Rhodes on his way back.

 Before making waves in MLW, Jacob Fatu learned the ropes and trained under Rikishi at the WWE Hall of Famer's wrestling school. It took a while but the WWE Universe has finally seen the immense potential of Fatu. The 32-year-old has been booked strongly and since Solo Sikoa walked out on a recent SmackDown episode, The Samoan Werewolf has been tasked with doing the talking for The New Bloodline. Rikishi was glad to see Jacob Fatu being given the backing to cut promos and felt WWE would soon figure out something interesting about the superstar. Fatu is amongst those who can address the crowd after just being given the bullet points. Rikishi has seen it first-hand while working extensively with the star and noted only good workers are capable of doing it. |  Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have made a major career move ahead of WWE Royal Rumble 2025. The two stars have been married to each other since 2021. According to a new report from Deadline, The Man and The Visionary have made a massive decision about their careers together. Lynch and Rollins have both signed with Adventure Media for management. Becky Lynch was recently cast in Happy Gilmore 2 and landed a role in the cast of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy on Paramount +. The former Women's World Champion also released her autobiography, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, last year, and it was very successful. |

There has been an update about Becky Lynch's WWE status ahead of Royal Rumble 2025. The veteran has not been seen on WWE television since her loss to Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage match on the May 27, 2024, episode of RAW. According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp on this week's episode of The Hump, the promotion is still mapping out Lynch's return to the promotion. Sapp noted that it was a creative situation with The Man and that she was under contract.
