The SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, took to social media to announce the future of Cody Rhodes after he took a loss on Crown Jewel last weekend. He said that Rhodes was not used to taking losses, which had affected him. He went on to say that Rhodes would now address his future and the loss in that match on the coming episode of SmackDown.Aldis also mentioned that Rhodes would comment on the aftermath and attack on Seth Rollins that occurred on RAW recently.
 Seth Rollins was kicked out of The Vision in brutal fashion this past week on WWE RAW, prompting a concerned response from his wife and fellow star Becky Lynch. Now, none other than Omos has come forward to offer his services to the husband-wife duo to deal with their ongoing troubles in the global juggernaut. The Nigerian Giant hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since 5th April 2024, when he participated in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal on SmackDown. Earlier this year, the company sent him on an excursion to Japan to work for NOAH. However, Omos is now back, having recently worked at AAA Triplemania XXXIII and a host of NXT Live Events. The former RAW Tag Team Champion has also teased his much-anticipated return to the main roster with a recent tweet. He responded to Becky Lynch’s message regarding The Vision betraying her husband, Seth Rollins, expressing his desire to help them deal with this setback. |  A former WWE star has teased a major return during her pregnancy. She worked in the company for many years. She was a part of AEW from 2022 until this year, usually featured on ROH, and portrayed as a manager. Unfortunately, Maria Kanellis was released from her contract in January 2025. Her husband, Mike Benette, is still All Elite. Mike and Maria have been married since 2014 and have two children. The former TNA Knockouts Champion revealed that she was expecting a third baby a few months ago. It seems like she has already started to plan her career even before the baby is born. Jacob Fatu attacked Drew McIntyre a few weeks ago on WWE SmackDown, and the two men have since entered a feud, but fans may not be able to see this story progress. Bodyslam is reporting that Jacob Fatu is currently dealing with a non-wrestling-related injury that could keep him out of action until “well into 2026.” This means that Fatu could miss the remainder of the year as well as next year's Royal Rumble, where he could have been a major factor.

Rhea Ripley is currently part of WWE RAW, but the Eradicator might soon leave the red brand for a major reunion. Recently, Mami defeated Kairi Sane on the Monday Night show, and at Crown Jewel, she paired with IYO SKY to defeat The Kabuki Warriors. Amid this, there is a possibility that Ripley might leave the Adam Pearce show and reunite with ex-WWE partner Damian Priest after almost 384 days on SmackDown. For those who might not know, the Archer of Infamy is engaged in a rivalry with Aleister Black on the blue brand.In the previous episode of SmackDown, Black got an assist from Zelina Vega in a Last Man Standing match against Damian.
As a consequence of this, the former NXT Champion defeated Priest in this bout. With the inclusion of Zelina, Damian needs a female alliance on his side. This sparks the chances of Rhea Ripley reuniting with the former Judgment Day member. Earlier, Priest and Ripley worked together as members of the Judgment Day faction. After being betrayed by the group, they paired as the Terror Twins but mutually decided to go their separate ways. With Damian needing assistance from the Women's division, Rhea holds a strong chance to join forces with him.

Despite the Wyatt Sicks holding the WWE Tag Team titles, Uncle Howdy hasn't been seen on SmackDown in weeks. He taunted the Street Profits backstage as Bo Dallas before they earned a rematch for the titles.
Even after Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy successfully defended their championships last week, Howdy didn't show up for the staredown between the MFTs and Wyatt Sicks. Since he's such an integral part of the group and its leader, his continued absence is concerning. If he's gone for a bigger reason, the next four stars could replace him.
