Real-life Bloodline member gives hilarious contract update

Inside: Dominik Mysterio rejected and more

TOP STORIES TODAY

An extremely popular WWE Superstar had an interesting exchange with a fan on X/Twitter. Real-life Bloodline member Naomi, also known as Trinity Fatu, joked that her contract isn’t up until 2045.

Naomi lost to her former friend Jade Cargill on Night One of WWE WrestleMania 41. Many fans have been enjoying her character development for some time now and want to see her receive a major push. A fan recently posted on X/Twitter, speculating that Naomi could take time off after Backlash 2025. The real-life Bloodline member noticed the post and sent an amusing response to the same.

On RAW, Liv Morgan spoke up and talked about how she was going to be working on a big Hollywood film. She stated that she needed to step away from the company and work on the film. Nick Aldis confirmed this was okay, and the paperwork for it was already completed. They were ready for her to take some time off. There was no talk of giving up the Women’s Tag Team title either, despite her not being available to defend it for some time.

Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio appeared to think that this time off also applied to him. He asked Nick Aldis for time off, trying to tell him that he was taking it, but was firmly rejected.

Chelsea Green faced Zelina Vega last week in a match defending her United States Championship. Unfortunately, things didn’t play out exactly as she had hoped. She was unable to retain her title, with Zelina Vega picking up the win and becoming the new Women’s United States Champion. The star has since bid farewell to WWE and appears ready to leave the company. It’s uncertain what she has planned.

In a video of the moment after the match, it can be seen what happened when the star got up after her loss and realized she had lost the Women’s United States Championship. She asked for her belt, and to her dawning horror, saw that Vega was the champion. She then collapsed, only avoiding hitting the ground because Piper Niven and Alba Fyre caught her.WWE sent her a message after the moment, using the clip of the moment where she realized that she was no longer the United States Champion and collapsed while folding in half.

FROM THE RUMOR MILL

Mysterio was part of a six-man tag team match the night before WrestleMania, where he sustained an injury that kept him out of the event. It was reported that he suffered a torn adductor muscle during the match, and it was announced that he would go through surgery in Birmingham, Alabama.

As per a report by PWInsider, Rey Mysterio’s surgery from earlier in the week was successful. The process of the surgery is done and the star has returned home to California to recover.

ANALYSIS CORNER

WWE’s next big premium live event is almost here. The 20th edition of Backlash will take place in St. Louis on May 10. The show is already set to feature several major stars such as Becky Lynch, Lyra Valkyria, John Cena, and Randy Orton. However, there is one superstar who will seemingly miss the event.

According to reports, it is unlikely that Roman Reigns will be on the card. Despite never being advertised, this is a surprise to some, as there was a belief that he would team up with CM Punk to take on the newly formed duo of Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker at the PLE. The heel pair, of course, would be managed by Paul Heyman. However, just because the OTC is potentially missing the show, it doesn’t mean he can’t be replaced.
