Problems in The Vision, Reigns backs Jey & Cena's final opponent
Inside: Another long-time WWE team may be splitting up on RAW after 6 years

TOP STORIES TODAY
Cracks are already starting to form in The Vision. Paul Heyman had a warning for Seth Rollins ahead of Crown Jewel. Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman formed The Vision along with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed earlier this year. Since then, Rollins has won the Money in the Bank briefcase and subsequently won the World Heavyweight Championship. Now, he will face Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Given The Visionary’s previous track record against the American Nightmare, he is starting to doubt himself.
On WWE RAW, Rollins asked Paul Heyman what would happen if he lost to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that The Visionary will lose the locker room's support and the faith of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. He also said that Rollins would throw away everything they had built, and he would become a secondary champion. Therefore, the Hall of Famer told the World Heavyweight Champion not to lose. Rollins then pulled Heyman in and said to him that the latter had left himself out of the equation. He asked again what would happen if he lost at Crown Jewel. Heyman then told Rollins that if he lost to Cody, then he would need to question why he chose The Visionary over Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns crossed paths with his cousin brothers, The Usos, in a backstage segment on Monday Night RAW. He urged Jey to go after a nine-time champion as the big turn continues to be teased. For context, Jey and Jimmy Uso have been having issues on RAW. It isn't so much about Jey's lack of success, but rather the change in his attitude, where he gets caught up in his own head. Recently, he has suggested to Jimmy that he will take the darker route, involving ruthlessly stepping over others to get back to the top. This has been the biggest pain point between the brothers because Jimmy knows that Roman Reigns took this exact approach to reach the top and stay there as well. This week on RAW, after the brawl between Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed, The OTC went up to The Usos. Like the week prior, he partially snubbed Jimmy Uso, only giving him a greeting after acknowledging Jey. | A WWE team may be set to split up after more than six years together on RAW tonight. The team has seen some tension and unhappiness over the last few weeks and it seems that it is leading to something. The Kabuki Warriors first came together back in 2019, and the stars never really split up. Kairi Sane left WWE to go back to Japan for a while, but when she returned, she joined up with Asuka almost immediately as part of the Damage CTRL. Even after the group fell apart, the Kabuki Warriors were still at each other's sides and on the same page. However, when Asuka started to turn on IYO SKY, there were some issues faced by the stars. Kairi Sane was not having it and was unhappy with how Asuka was treating their friend. When they finally turned on SKY, Sane sided with Asuka again, but she seemed to be reluctant still. On RAW tonight, Sane said that she did not want to wrestle SKY, because they were still family. Then Asuka did the unthinkable, and slapped Sane across the face. |
FROM THE RUMOR MILL
WWE's plans for John Cena's final match have reportedly been revealed. The legend will be wrestling his final bout at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, WWE is planning on having John Cena battle Gunther in his final match later this year. Meltzer also suggested that Triple H may announce a tournament to determine Cena's final opponent, but The Ring General has already been penciled in for the match.
”Two sources have confirmed that the latest plan is for a tournament to be announced, possibly on the air by Paul Levesque, with top wrestlers vying to be Cena’s last opponent. But multiple have confirmed however it reaches the conclusion, that Gunther was the person chosen for the match.”

Asuka and Kairi Sane are set to face IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley in a Tag Team match this Saturday at Crown Jewel: Perth. The highly anticipated showdown was made official last week after the turn of events on RAW. Now, The Kabuki Warriors might emerge victorious in a shocking twist, thanks to the potential return of a 37-year-old star.Dakota Kai was released from her WWE contract earlier this year, ending her three-year tenure with the Stamford-based promotion. However, fans now speculate that the company may bring Kai back and book her to help Asuka and Kairi Sane emerge victorious.
Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY kicked off last week's episode of RAW with an in-ring segment in which Mami addressed the attack they suffered from The Kabuki Warriors the previous week. Meanwhile, SKY seemed uncertain whether to reconcile with Asuka before eventually leaving The Eradicator in the ring, saying she needed time to think. Following this moment, Asuka and Kairi Sane ambushed Ripley from behind. This led IYO SKY to run back into the ring and throw The Empress of Tomorrow off Mami. She then tried to intercede for her friend, but the 44-year-old unexpectedly hit her in the face with the poison mist to everyone's surprise. This incident set up the stage for the upcoming showdown between the heel and babyface duo this Saturday at Crown Jewel: Perth.

ANALYSIS CORNER
Factions have always been a great storytelling device in WWE. Interestingly, the Triple H-led creative team has multiple opportunities to book new alliances before the end of the year.
In the current landscape, several superstars could benefit from joining a faction. Not only would this create shocking moments, but it would also add unpredictability to the ongoing storylines.
