A troubling development has emerged regarding Liv Morgan’s stalker case, as reports indicate that Shawn Chan, the man accused of targeting the WWE star, is seeking release from jail ahead of his trial. Chan, who was arrested in June and has remained behind bars since, has filed a motion requesting bail. If granted, he would be freed until his trial date, with his legal team proposing that he be housed at a local Salvation Army facility in the meantime.
According to PWInsider, a hearing on the motion is scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, at 11 AM in Tampa, Florida. Chan, a Canadian national, allegedly traveled to the United States and loitered at Morgan’s property before being charged with one count of interstate domestic violence. The request for bail has raised serious concerns among fans and officials alike, given the severity of the allegations and the risks associated with his potential release.
