New WWE champion, Rollins' title update & Jey's new ally

A new WWE champion has been officially crowned tonight. The sudden change in hands for the title has led to a historic moment. Kendal Grey Just Made History on WWE Evolve, becoming a New WWE Champion introduced the new EVOLVE Women’s Championship earlier in 2025. As a result, when the episode aired of Kali Armstrong winning the match against Wendy Choo, Kendal Gray, and Kylie Ray back on May 28, 2025, she became the inaugural women's champion. Having made history, she has since been able to hold on to the title, establishing herself as an unbeatable beast of a champion. She has defended it quite a few times.
Now, though, Kendal Grey has taken the title away from her, creating history once again, by making it the first time that the new title changed hands between different stars. Grey has been the first one ever to win the title off a different star, and now is set to reign as the champion. It was not an easy night for her, as Kali Armstrong put on a massive match against the star, but the former champion was not able to retain the title this time.
 Jey Uso has now got a new partner after walking out on his brother Jimmy on WWE RAW. This comes as a surprising new team. Jey Uso teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura during the WWE Live EventIn a shocking move for fans, Jey Uso teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura at the WWE show in Melbourne. His brother Jimmy was hurt on RAW after his match against Bronson Reed. Jey had issues with his brother, which led to an angry moment on the show. However, he teamed with Nakamura to avenge what had happened. The two of them teamed up, and in a huge moment, Jey hit the spear on Bron to take out the man who has made the move his own over the last few years, simply due to the ferocity with which he hits it. As a result of the move, Breakker was unable to kick out, and Jey Uso and Shinsuke Nakamura won. However, it was the fact that after the match was done, the two stars celebrated in a big moment, yeeting together. |  Former WWE star Duke “The Dumpster” Droese was arrested back in May, which ended up garnering a lot of attention around the world. The veteran made his debut in the company back in 1990 and managed to make headlines with his work in and out of the squared circle. Duke Droese was one of the biggest names in the company back in the day and had one of the most heated rivalries with Triple H during his time in the company. Droese last wrestled in 2023 on the independent circuit and remains closely connected to the wrestling industry. Duke Droese was arrested on one count of Attempted Aggravated Se*ual Exploitation of a Minor on May 2 in Tennessee, and if convicted of a Class D felony, could end up spending 2-4 years behind bars. The veteran reportedly tried to purchase child se*ual assault material using his Coinbase account, which led to the authorities getting alerted and making the arrest. As per the latest reports from PWInsider, a hearing will now be conducted on October 22 in Warren County, Tennessee. If Droese doesn’t come to terms on a plea, a trial will then be scheduled during the hearing. An update on Droese’s status might be provided following the hearing. |

The future of Seth Rollins as the World Heavyweight Champion will be decided as soon as the next episode of RAW, as per reports. The star is also set to go through surgery. Seth Rollins' future with the World Heavyweight Championship will be decided on WWE RAW.
As had been exclusively reported, there is expectation from many within WWE that Seth Rollins was going to be forced to relinquish the title after he was injured during a bad landing at Crown Jewel. Sources informed this author that, although it had not been confirmed, the title would likely be taken away from him, as for who would receive the title, that was not revealed.

Bron Breakker shocked the world by turning on Seth Rollins in the closing moments of this week's WWE RAW. Paul Heyman and Bronson Reed, who were seemingly unaware of Breakker's plan, had to choose sides on the fly, as The Dog of WWE made it clear that either they were with him or against him. Reed and Heyman ultimately chose to side with Bron Breakker, as the trio stood tall over Seth Rollins. Interestingly, The Dog of WWE posed with Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship, seemingly indicating that he has his sights on the title.
However, The Visionary is reportedly headed for surgery after suffering a shoulder injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Assuming Rollins is forced to vacate his title, many believe Bron Breakker may receive an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship. That said, in an interesting possibility, Breakker could hand over his potential title shot to his stablemate, Bronson Reed.

The betrayal by The Vision came quite early and has now ended up changing the entire landscape of the company. With two powerhouses like Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed together, alongside Paul Heyman, the future is clearly now.
Seth Rollins reportedly suffered a massive shoulder injury at Crown Jewel, which was potentially the reason behind the Vision’s early betrayal. The Visionary is reportedly set to undergo surgery, which might keep him out of action for a long time. However, Rollins might not be able to control his anger until then . With The Visionary out of action, another member of the Vision, his wife Becky Lynch, might take his revenge on the faction.
