Inside: Adam Pearce cancels match on RAW

TOP STORIES TODAY
Jey Uso shocked the WWE Universe on RAW by turning heel in a move few saw coming. Earlier in the night, Jey briefly reunited with his brother Jimmy Uso, but their momentum was disrupted when they found themselves battling Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. During the chaos, tensions flared between Jey and LA Knight, leading to a costly miscommunication that allowed Bronson to take advantage and drop Jey. What seemed like a minor slip-up soon spiraled into a dramatic betrayal.
The uneasy alliance between Jey and Knight finally unraveled, with their history of both rivalry and friendship proving too volatile to sustain. Frustrated and unwilling to stand alongside Knight any longer, Jey refused to back him up when Jimmy asked if he would help. This decisive turn officially positioned Jey Uso as a heel once again, leaving fans stunned and raising questions about how his fractured friendships and reunion with Jimmy will shape the weeks ahead.
Adam Pearce announced a major cancellation on WWE RAW, issuing an apology to fans and one of the brand’s top stars in the process. Backstage, the RAW General Manager informed IYO SKY that her scheduled contract signing with Stephanie Vaquer for their upcoming Women’s World Championship match at Wrestlepalooza would not be happening. Pearce explained that Vaquer could not be present for the segment, though he did not reveal the reason behind her absence. As a result, SKY’s advertised appearance for the contract signing was officially scrapped, but Pearce assured her that the championship match itself remains intact for Wrestlepalooza. While the announcement disappointed fans expecting the showdown to heat up on RAW, the assurance means the highly anticipated title clash between SKY and Vaquer is still set to take place later this month. | AJ Styles caused a stir on WWE RAW when he went off-script during a live promo before his match against El Grande Americano, openly venting his frustrations with the company. Speaking during the commercial break, The Phenomenal One admitted he felt alone for the first time in his career, referencing the absence of his longtime allies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, as well as Michin, who is not currently featured on RAW. The outburst quickly took a shocking turn as Styles suggested a larger issue was at play. He claimed that “someone” backstage had deliberately orchestrated his current situation, ensuring he would have no support and hinting that they no longer wanted him in WWE. Styles stopped short of naming names but told fans he had just revealed something they were “never supposed to know.” While he didn’t elaborate further, the unscripted comments sparked speculation among fans and raised questions about whether this was part of a storyline or a genuine airing of grievances from one of WWE’s most accomplished stars. |
FROM THE RUMOR MILL
WWE RAW’s move to Netflix earlier this year has been a major success, with the red brand consistently ranking in the streaming platform’s weekly Top 10 shows since its debut in January 2025. However, new reports indicate that WWE and Netflix are experimenting with some changes to the program’s format and schedule this month.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (via Cultaholic), the companies have agreed to adjust RAW’s start time for three upcoming episodes. On September 15, 22, and 29, the show will begin at 7 p.m. EST instead of the traditional 8 p.m. EST. While no permanent change has been announced, the earlier start time is seen as a test run to gauge audience response and potential long-term scheduling shifts.

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, tensions within The Judgment Day were on display in a backstage segment that put the spotlight on Dominik Mysterio. The segment began with Finn Bálor praising Raquel Rodriguez for her recent victory and acknowledging how Roxanne Perez played a role in helping the faction secure the win. However, when Dominik appeared, Bálor wasted no time questioning his absence and raising concerns about his growing ties outside the group.
The former Universal Champion specifically pointed to Dominik’s budding alliance with El Grande Americano, noting that the rest of Judgment Day didn’t understand his so-called “Lucha thing.” Dominik defended the partnership, insisting that was the reason Americano had his back, but his frustration was evident as he walked away from the group. Seeing his visible disappointment, Roxanne Perez chose to follow him, hinting at further developments in the evolving Judgment Day storyline.

ANALYSIS CORNER
Dominik Mysterio has been riding a wave of success as WWE Intercontinental Champion, remaining one of the most prominent members of The Judgment Day. However, with Liv Morgan sidelined due to injury, the group’s dynamic has shifted, and Dominik’s momentum has started to feel less stable. After wrapping up his feud with AJ Styles, which he won with timely interference from El Grande Americano, Mysterio has struggled to prove himself as a dominant solo star without outside assistance.
On this week’s WWE RAW, tensions came to the surface during a backstage segment with his Judgment Day allies. Dominik appeared visibly frustrated and, in a surprising move, walked out of the faction’s clubhouse, leaving the rest of the group stunned. The unexpected walkout has raised major questions among fans about his status within the group, his reliance on Americano, and whether cracks are beginning to form inside one of WWE’s most dominant factions.
