Backstage, the RAW General Manager informed IYO SKY that her scheduled contract signing with Stephanie Vaquer for their upcoming Women’s World Championship match at Wrestlepalooza would not be happening. Pearce explained that Vaquer could not be present for the segment, though he did not reveal the reason behind her absence. As a result, SKY’s advertised appearance for the contract signing was officially scrapped, but Pearce assured her that the championship match itself remains intact for Wrestlepalooza. However, new reports indicate that WWE and Netflix are experimenting with some changes to the program’s format and schedule this month.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (via Cultaholic), the companies have agreed to adjust RAW’s start time for three upcoming episodes. On September 15, 22, and 29, the show will begin at 7 p.m. EST instead of the traditional 8 p.m. EST. While no permanent change has been announced, the earlier start time is seen as a test run to gauge audience response and potential long-term scheduling shifts.
