Shocking NXT announcement

TOP STORIES TODAY
The D’Angelo Family has officially confirmed its split on WWE NXT after months of tension. Stacks betrayed Tony D at Stand & Deliver 2025, followed by Luca Crusifino distancing himself. Luca recently punched Tony and declared he was looking out for himself, deepening the rift.
On this week’s episode, Adrianna Rizzo returned and confronted all three men. She acknowledged how far they had fallen and said their bond as a family was beyond saving. Rizzo revealed she spoke to Ava and announced a Triple Threat Match next week, calling it their “Final Battle.”
Pat McAfee's extended absence from WWE programming has sparked speculation about his long-term future with the company. While Michael Cole has assured fans that McAfee will return, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer shared a different perspective on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer suggested that McAfee’s demanding schedule and lucrative ESPN deal may be pulling him away from WWE for good. With Corey Graves currently filling in as RAW’s color commentator, it seems increasingly likely that McAfee’s days at the commentary desk could be numbered, especially if the financial and logistical balance doesn’t favor a return. | WWE dropped a major update during the latest episode of NXT, confirming key details about the highly anticipated Battle Royal at the upcoming Evolution Premium Live Event. This match will determine who earns a title opportunity at Clash in Paris. Originally set to face Liv Morgan, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has now been added to the Battle Royal due to Morgan’s injury. Joining her in the match are Ivy Nile, Stephanie Vaquer, Nia Jax, Natalya, and Maxxine Dupri. The announcement was made by NXT GM Ava, and the night also featured confirmation of a special NXT Women’s Evolution Summit segment to further build excitement. |
FROM THE RUMOR MILL
A potential spoiler has emerged ahead of WWE Evolution 2025, hinting at two major surprise returns. According to PWInsider, WWE is planning to bring back Hall of Famers Alundra Blayze (Madusa) and Jazz for the premium live event this Sunday, July 13, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
While details on their specific roles remain under wraps, their appearance could play into special segments, surprises in ongoing storylines, or even involvement in the Women's Battle Royal. Either way, their presence adds nostalgic star power to an already stacked card.
TOP FEATURES
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker may be eyeing one final in-ring return, and the stage could be set as soon as this weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event. While he hasn’t wrestled since his emotional farewell at Survivor Series 2020, the Deadman did make a surprise cameo at WrestleMania XL, helping Cody Rhodes conquer The Rock.
Now, The Phenom could appear again. This time to confront World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. If he delivers a signature chokeslam after Gunther’s match against Goldberg, it could ignite a blockbuster showdown between the two icons at SummerSlam 2025.

ANALYSIS CORNER

Seth Rollins, Mr. Money in the Bank, faces immense pressure as enemies close in from all sides. From CM Punk and LA Knight to the looming presence of Penta and possibly Roman Reigns, Rollins’ window to cash in his contract is narrowing fast. His upcoming singles match against LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event could see chaos erupt, with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker also expected to get involved.
Yet, all eyes will be on the night’s headliner, Goldberg vs. Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. If Rollins can survive the night, he may still find the perfect opening. A post-match cash-in on a battered Gunther or Goldberg could hand The Visionary his long-awaited title reign in shocking fashion.
