The former Women’s Champion revealed that her cousin Vanessa, who had been battling cancer, had passed away. Alexa described Vanessa as one of the strongest and most positive people she knew, saying she loved her deeply and would miss her dearly.

In a shocking result at TripleMania Regia in Monterrey, Mexico, WWE Superstars Angel and Berto of Legado Del Fantasma captured the AAA World Tag Team Championship. This marks their first tag title win in nearly nine years, reigniting their momentum as a team.

The Garzas won a Fatal Four-Way match against reigning champions Forastero and Sansón, Pagano and Psycho Clown, and TNA’s Nic and Ryan Nemeth. Pearce confirmed that the episode will feature the final two first-round Fatal Four-Way matches of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. He also revealed he won’t be present at the show, with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis stepping in as his temporary replacement for the night.

Despite speculation surrounding Asuka’s return, WWE has reportedly ended the Damage CTRL faction. According to Fightful Select, the group was internally disbanded following Dakota Kai’s release in early May.

This means the stable had already dissolved before Kairi Sane returned from injury, leaving only her and IYO SKY as active members. Even with Asuka’s comeback, there are no current plans to revive the group, marking a quiet end to one of WWE’s most dominant women's factions in recent memory.
