Inside: The Undertaker to return?

SMACKDOWN SYNOPSIS

During his promo on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes said it's about the future, the next 20 WWE Champions, not just Cody himself. He said that one man is trying to take that all away - John Cena.
Cody said that just because Cena is popular, fans are not allowed to love someone else. He named many superstars who made him better, including Randy Orton, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn. Cody Rhodes told Cena the same thing he told Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns - that he's best when his back is against the wall. He declared that the WWE Title stays with “us” i.e., the WWE Universe.
![]() Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton have been feuding as they head toward WrestleMania, with both going off-script in recent promo battles. Flair has not taken any steps to improve the situation, with reportedly off-script shots at Tiffany Stratton quite a few times, making the young star look bad heading into their match. Stratton came back with shots of her own recently, talking about Flair's real-life divorce with Andrade and how she was 0-3 in her marriages. The star hit back at the champion by saying her real-life boyfriend, Ludwig Kaiser, was in her DMs. Before SmackDown, Charlotte Flair attacked Tiffany Stratton in the parking lot when the star arrived before SmackDown. She started to beat Tiffy down while the champion desperately cried for her to get off her. Security arrived on the scene, separating them, but not before Stratton was hurt in the moment. A fan posted a video of the moment on X. | ![]() The saga involving Roman Reigns has reached a phase where he might be left without his Wiseman, Paul Heyman. The OTC's manager will come out with CM Punk at WrestleMania, and after the latest RAW episode, he also owes a favor to Seth Rollins. A Heyman betrayal seems inevitable, leaving Roman Reigns in a precarious state before another WrestleMania main event for the former undisputed champion. Rikishi commented on Reigns's current status on the Off The Top podcast and began by directly addressing a message to the WWE Superstar. He reminded Roman that he was the god of pro wrestling and was the sole reason why many talents in the back were making more money, including CM Punk and Paul Heyman. |
FROM THE RUMOR MILL
Owens was set to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. Unfortunately, he could not compete at the show due to his neck issues. He had been suffering from a neck injury for a long time now, but he was not able to address it. He announced that he would not be able to compete at WrestleMania as he was going away for neck surgery. He also confessed that he was not certain when he could return to the ring.
There was a report earlier on April 7 that Kevin Owens had already undergone neck surgery. It has now been reported that this is untrue. Fightful Select reported it earlier, and now PW Insider has confirmed that it's incorrect. They went on to state that the star was spotted in the Atlanta airport with no sign of having undergone any surgery at all.
