 During the show, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry teamed up with Hank and Tank to take on DarkState in a six-man tag team match. Trick Williams showed up during the bout and got into a brawl with the TNA star, costing the babyfaces the match. Williams was a participant in the #1 contender’s battle royal match, and he was eliminated thanks to Joe Hendry. The two stars have been feuding for a while now. Several days ago, Trick even showed up at TNA Rebellion and attacked Hendry after his title defense. During a backstage segment, Ava informed Joe Hendry that she had spoken to Santino Marella, and they scheduled a match between him and Trick Williams for Battleground. She also revealed that for the first time on a WWE Premium Live Event, the TNA World Championship will be on the line. |  Elijah first made a name for himself in WWE under the ring name Elias. He quickly gained a lot of traction with the fans due to his gimmick. Despite this, he was barely involved in any key storylines and was mostly seen as a punching bag for other more popular stars on TV. After a poor run in the company, he was finally released from the company in 2023. His last match for the promotion took place on the May 15, 2023, episode of RAW when he competed in a number one contendership battle royal for the Intercontinental Championship. Since his release, Elijah has gone on to work in the independent circuit. He even joined TNA Wrestling earlier this year, where he has been a regular feature on TV. Due to TNA’s working partnership with the sports entertainment juggernaut, some of its talent were allowed to compete in a battle royal on NXT. One of the TNA wrestlers involved in the match was Elijah. |

Liv Morgan is off filming a movie, but she might not be gone that long. The 30-year-old has a starring role in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo. She asked for time off to film the role last week on RAW, and her request was granted. According to Fightful Select, she won’t be gone for too long.
The site was informed that this won’t be a situation of one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion missing months of WWE TV. May 16 is the date she is expected to be done with filming, and the plans are for her to return to the United States from Japan on May 17. However, Fightful were not told when she will be back on WWE TV. Liv Morgan will only miss one more episode of RAW.
